Maintenance

- Cleaning : Spray the yoga mat (without product) and let dry on a wire away from the sun. You can pass it to the washing machine as often as you like, in short program, cold, delicate textile without spinning and without detergent (do not do if your machine is old or too low capacity).
- Warning: fatty substances stain the carpet: do not apply cream on your body or mask on your hair before using the carpet.

Shibori “literally “squeeze while twisting” is a Japanese technique of dyeing by ligature on fabric also known as “Tie & Dye”.

In Japan the oldest fabrics using the Shibori technique date from the eighth century. At the time, silk, hemp and cotton were dyed with indigo, madder or beetroot. Today the process is very fashionable in the United States and arrives in Europe.
