Polyurethane is a particularly sticky material, however if you want your carpet not to lose its adhesion, you must maintain it! This material is very efficient, but also fragileIt is not flexible enough to be folded. This yoga mat is not machine washable.

To clean your polyurethane carpet use a microfiber cloth and cold water or a little soap. It is not recommended to use hot water or essential oils because polyurethane has an excellent absorption capacity, which will leave marks on the carpet surface.
Don’t forget to dry it well before storing it ! It is best to roll it up and store it in a dry place free of dust or sunlight to prevent it from warping, becoming unpleasant odors or lose its grip.

The PVC yoga mat has a relatively long life, however its maintenance is essential, because this material tends to stick and to release an unpleasant plastic smell.

It must be cleaned regularly with warm water and a little soap, with a microfiber cloth. If you practice very often or if you practice a discipline where you tend to sweat, you should wash your mat at least once a month, then refresh or perfume it with a Eau de parfum without alcohol or essential oils. Make sure your carpet is completely dry before storing it.
Just like the textile microfiber mat, it is preferable to roll up the PVC carpet rather than fold itto avoid deformations. In addition, prefer a dry place without daylight to store your carpet, so that it keeps its adherence as long as possible!
